Just wrapped 3 days of shooting in shipyards and manufacturing facilities with Fairlead Integrated—cameras in hand, steel-toed boots on, dodging crawlers (just barely), and capturing the content for their new website.
This is the final step in a process that started weeks ago with a full StoryBrand workshop, brand strategy deep dive, and copywriting to get their message locked in before we ever picked up a camera.
Whether we’re working with shipbuilders, DOD contractors, art museums, or small businesses with big ambitions—we run the same play every time:

Despite a little semi-unruly weather, the turnout was strong, the art was incredible, and the Art Park? Total hit. The felting station alone convinced us to buy supplies and keep the creativity rolling at home.
Big thanks to the entire MOCA team—not just for the work they put into this event, but for the way they show up year-round. We’re lucky to get to partner with such a passionate, thoughtful crew. Can’t wait for next year. 👏
Snuck away to Phoenicia for a quick anniversary trip—7 years with Liz. Finally stayed at @thegrahamandco after following them for years, knocked out multiple breakfasts at @phoeniciadiner, and wandered through Woodstock and Kingston for the first time in over a decade.
We hiked the Kaaterskill Rail Trail to the falls, ate well at @peekamooserestaurant and @goodnightwoodstock, and caught up with my uncle on his home turf.

Kicking things off the right way.
This week we hit the ground running with our new client, Fairlead—a veteran-owned company doing critical work across shipbuilding, defense systems, and maritime technology.
We started with a location scout of four of their facilities to prep for an upcoming photo and video shoot that will help bring their new website to life. But the work didn’t start there.
Last week, we led an in-depth brand discovery workshop to get to the heart of who Fairlead is and what sets them apart. From there, we build out a StoryBrand framework that informs everything—from shot lists and site structure to messaging and visual tone.
Next up: shot planning, scheduling, and capturing the moments that bring this story to life.
