After my formal training at the University of Michigan School of Art & Design where I majored in Graphic Design, I moved to Virginia Beach where I’ve spent the past 15+ years art directing and designing for a wide range of industries. I’ve worked to re-brand and re-imagine local small businesses such as catering companies, health & wellness businesses, and photography studios as well as larger national companies including a Virtual BDC for automotive dealers and a luxury home builder out of Southern California. Some of my more recent clients include The Virginia Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau, ABNB Federal Credit Union, The City of Virginia Beach and Virginia Beach City Public Schools, The Uniquely Yours Bridal Showcase, The Virginia Aquarium, and The Hampton Roads Wedding Guide.

How I work: Beauty in the everyday world inspires me. I might snap a photo of a pattern in nature that I spot when walking a wooded trail, or of the way the light falls on an architectural feature that I notice when I’m out running errands. I like to create mood boards to explore texture, color, and shape, and sometimes my best inspiration comes when I go back to basics and take pencil to paper.

When I’m not working: I’m spending time with my family around our pool or at the beach, shuffling my daughters to and from gymnastics practice, learning to surf, reading interior design magazines, and creating art for my home.
